‘No mercy for 2010 criminals’; But.. Fine, Loot or Freedom for other criminals..

Police Minister Mthethwa, says there shall be no mercy for criminals who threaten the 2010 Soccer World Cup:

South Africa will act swiftly and "with no mercy" against criminals and terrorists who threaten the 2010 Soccer World Cup, warns Police Minister Nathi Mthethwa.

Pity neither he, nor most of the ANC could care less about the criminals and terrorists who daily threaten South African citizens; the future of South Africa, the safety and security of South Africa's children.

Imagine what might happen should the Minister of Police start showing no mercy towards criminals who threaten the Safety and Security of South African citizens.

Pity South African citizens and taxpayers lives and safety and security mean so little to the Minister of Police. The Minister of Police have used South African taxpaying citizens who are being robbed, raped, hijacked and murdered, taxes to fund the following for the safety and security of 2010 Soccer Tourists:

The country had spent R665m on special equipment, including state-of-the-art military technology, and would spend a further R640m to deploy 41 000 police and security officials for the event, he said in a statement published on the African National Congress SA Today website.

"An amount of R665m has been spent on procuring special equipment, including crowd-control equipment, crime scene trainers, helicopters, 10 water cannons, 100 BMWs for highway patrol and up-to-date body armour.
