The Twitter A/C: MinTruth1984 - which was opened yesterday, and only had 12 followers at the time -- was deleted by Twitter; without any notice; a few hours ago.
The MinTruth1984 A/C was simply setup to create a database of tweets which refer to Media Corruption or unethical media behaviour. It is one thing when we see one article in a thousand about media corruption; but when we see many together in a database; it is easier to research and to get a better perspective about the big picture of media corruption.
Twitter did not notify the account holder of any tweet which allegedly violated its terms of service; or even of Twitters intentions to delete the account.
Below is a brief record of the Media corruption tweets which had been sent; prior to the account having been deleted.
A new account has been setup: 1984MinTruth. We hope this one is not also deleted by Twitter.
Update #1: The new account had not even signed up to follow any other account. I only reposted previous and new media corruption tweets, but by the time I got to the 20th tweet to post; I was notified the account had been suspended. The email letter to Twitter asking them to clarify their reasons for deleting media corruption archive accounts is further below.
Update #2: 23:45: Twitter Support (Delbius) says Retweeting (RT) is abuse. My question/response: In the first account (@MinTruth1984) I had tweeted 40 tweets; of which 31 were retweets. In the second account (@1984MinTruth) I only sent out 19 tweets; of which 11 were retweets; and 8 tweet were not directed to anyone. I thought Retweeting is a compliment; or at the very least if you do retweet someone's tweet it is the honourable transparent thing to do; to include them as the source of the tweet. How is being honourable abusive? Not yet received a response. Comment requested from Twitter CEO Mr. Jack Dorsey.
